Impressive aromas of black
cherry, clove, and gingerbread precede a palate with flavors of cassis, Italian
plum, and star anise. A little decanting coaxes out dark chocolate and hazelnut
notes. The finish lingers with notes of black raspberry, toffee, and leather.
Bold tannins and dark fruits make this the perfect planning for a thick
porterhouse grilled to perfection, or mushrooms stuffed with Italian sausage,
parmesan, and cream cheese.
